The Map NYC offers tourists and even sawy New Yorkers an insider’s guide to shopping, restaurants, spas, art galleries and hotels. It is an interactive map of Manhattan that shows the exact locations of the attractions in each neighborhood. By dividing these destinations into clear categories The Map NYC makes it easy to navigate New York City’s dense neighborhoods. It also gives local businesses an opportunity to advertise their precise locations and attract customers.
The Map NYC includes both a website and a printed guide that is distributed at participating stores and hotels.
Founder and principal designer, Kenia is involved in all aspects of the film’s services, including the design, production, sales and marketing of the Map NYC.
She founded this innovative, design oriented, hand held guide and website with the firm belief that her efforts would be used to benefit the less fortunate in the world. She has chosen to partner with local and international non-profit organizations that “give back” to their respective neighborhoods.
Kenia, born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina started her career in Argentina 20 years ago in the field of design and later moved into the field of architecture. She soon became a registered Architect in Argentina, and was instrumental in the design and construction of many award-winning projects throughout Latin America. After many years of success in the corporate world in Argentina she co-founded a smaller private practice in Buenos Aires, Argentina and was instrumental in designing and building many projects in Buenos Aires.
When the recession hit Argentina in 2000, she decided to further her career internationally, and took a position with Greenberg Farrow in the United States, which is an acclaimed top 150 Architectural firm with an impressive array of the nation’s most prestigious public and private retail and developer clients.
While working for Greenberg Farrow, she participated in all phases of the planning, design, and construction process of over 100 projects.

Former President of the United States Bill Clinton’s. Kenia Lama as one of the senior staff members was part of the team that designed President Clinton’s office in Harlem, New York.
Kenia Lama has earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Buenos Aires University (Argentina), School of Architecture.
She has taught numerous courses in Graphic Design and Architectural Design in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
ALEJANDRA DENDA HAMPTON
Alejandra has over 15 years of international marketing, retail, merchandising, and brand development experience in consumer package goods, lifestyle brands and entertainment properties.
Industry speaker, contributing writer to various trade industry magazines, and co-author of the Licensing for Dummies book.
Managing Director for Latin America of Big Tent Entertainment, a global brand agency dedicated to licensing and marketing. At Big Tent Entertainment, Alejandra is taking the lead in developing current and new brands and revenue streams throughout Central and South America. Alejandra has been the Co-founder of The Mercer Group, an integrated kid’s marketing and entertainment agency, where she headed the international brand and licensing development of entertainment properties and brands. Prior to The Mercer Group, Alejandra worked in the international entertainment industry specifically coordinating marketing plans for Fido Dido in various international territories througout different categories such as consumer products, third party promotions, publishing, music, and interactive. Working in Latin America. She was responsible for the business development of such entertainment brands as Nickelodeon, Peanuts, Dilbert and MTV as well as highly-recongnized local properties and brands. Her prior experience also included work for The Clorox Co. implementing marketing and sales programs internationally.
Being fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese, she developed strong business relationships througout Latin America. In addition, she has proven expertise in retail consumer product marketing, category management, strategic planning, consumer research, merchandising, promotion and financial analysis.
Alejandra earned both a BA from Buenos Aires University (Argentina) School of Economics, Graduated Magna Cum Laude; and a Graduate Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in international Marketing from Harvard University. She has also been involved in the academic field, teaching Marketing, Business Strategy and Retailing classes in different universities for a more than five years.
